Goodbye to Violet & Chloe

Gran has been fostering two kittens for the Williamson County no kill shelter.  She got "Wilma" and "Wisdom" when they were about 5 weeks old, and we took them back today to be adopted out.

The kids renamed them....

Neely's names her kitten "Violet"

and Cannon named his "Chloe"

It was quite an experience for them to go out there, return the kittens, and see all of the homeless cats & dogs.  They both agreed they would like to volunteer out there as soon as they are old enough.  I don't understand why people get pets and don't take care of them.  All they want is to be loved. We sure did love the kittens while Gran had them.  We hope they are adopted out to families that will love them as much as we did.

Little Fish

Hutch took lessons last year, but it seemed as though he had forgotten everything he learned....until yesterday. Something clicked, and he took off! Check him out!! He can even pull himself out of the side of the pool!!!

Daughter of THE King

Neely went to "Princess Prep Camp" this week at our church (which also is where the kids will go to school next year).  She had a blast, and hopefully learned a little more about being a lady, and a child of God....daughter of The King...a true Princess!

Congratulations Neely, you are a REAL Princess!!  You have the certificate to prove it!!

We will definitely return next year, and Cannon may even voluteer at the Warrior Camp!!  I love the awesome opportunities we have through our church, and I know that this is just the tip of the iceberg!

Our House

We recently (well, really like 2 months ago) had the house painted and hardwood floors put down.  I have never posted pictures, because the house is always a mess!  The house was cleaned today, and I ran through and tooks pics before my little tornados did their magic on the place!

This is what it looks like for 4 minutes every two weeks.  The rest of the time it's a wreck, but I do love the floors and paint :).

There ya have it!!  We still have to get some things on the walls, but it's coming along!

Better

Father's Day may have started out like this....

But, it ended like this....

stopping for a little sippy cup of Gatorade

Those are turkeys!  They are all over the place at Twin Creeks.

Hutch likes to torture chase them!

It's much easier to chase turkeys with your hat on backwards!

Time spent with Dad at the golf course makes this little guy (and big guy) HAPPY!

Twinkle Twinkle Little Star

Hutch spiked a temperature about 10 o'clock last night (all the way up to 103), and it has barely gone down all day. He is clingy, lethargic and downright doesn't feel well. Great way to spend Father's Day, although we have kind-of haven't minded all of the sweet loving and cuddling we've been getting. He wasn't too sick to sing TTLS with Daddy though. He's been a such a sweet little loving baby. I sure hope he gets to feeling better soon.

You are loving, kind, patient, smart, funny, fun, handy, silly, brave, strong.....and so many more.  We couldn't ask for more!

Happy Father's Day!
