Camp Jasper 2011

Here are about 100 (a slight exaggeration, because that is what I do best) pictures to show off our Camp Jasper spirit!

We've had a wonderful weekend, and it's not over yet.  Love me some Camp Jasper, and precious family time.  We've missed Meme, Poppie, Cody & Courtney this year though!!!

We've had lots of pool time

The kids watching the X Games at Maggiore's (pizza joint).  A guy did a "sick" move on his skate board, and Hutch yelled "woa".  So funny, he was totally watching it!!

Tie dying time!!!!

Hutch always has time for a little "G"
I'm on a bundt cake kick!  This was white chocolate chip!

Hutch decided to do a little poop scooping before the official Camp Jasper pics, yes, REALLY!

Umm, are they cute or what?!?!

Well Hello, remember me?

It's been a busy month, and while I didn't really mean to take a break (remember, my computer got 100 viruses) from blogging for the month of July, it has been nice.  I guess I am officially back!

Here is a quick run down on what you have missed....

as you know Hutch I got an iPad
I got dressed up and went out with an old friend (old as in I've known her for a long time, she's very young :)
Hutch likes to pose for pictures...on his terms, of course
Mi muy bonita amiga, Jessica!  See, she's not old AT ALL :)

It was Les' birthday (remember, I did sneak in a little post), and I made him a cake!
Gran made him homemade ice cream, and got him a much needed new iPod (amazing how much Apple we have for a Dell family :)

Hutch & I went to Meme & Poppie's house, and Ashley was there.  She wanted to play with Hutch's my iPad too!
Hutch was back to his old self riding the bike again (he got scared after a bad fall, and has not been wanting to ride).  Meme & Poppie's house happens to be the "magical" place where kids learn to ride their bikes.
The reason I went to my parent's house is to get together with a few very special girls from high school.

If you don't remember my post from last year, these are girls from the "Positive Circle of Eight".  There was also this post from our last reunion in April of 2010.  It was soooo wonderful to catch up with these "girls" again.  We really do pick up right where we left off all those years ago.  I truly love them and value their friendship.  Hopefully I can be a better friend to them in the next 20 years, then I have been in the last 20.

That about wraps it up!  Bittersweetly (is that even a word?  if not, I don't care, you get the point), summer is almost over, but so is July, PRAISE THE LORD!! My big babies will be in my arms come Friday!!!!  Come Friday, it'll be alright, come Friday I'll be holding them tight, I spent 29 days in brown kidless haze, and I just want them back by my side....were you singing along with me?

I have to say, it's been a pretty good July....considering.
