Big Trees

We are home!  We had a wonderful trip, but it's always good to be home.  Just one more post to show you all what we got to see the last day...BIG TREES of Calaveras County. 

 

The trees were nothing short of spectacular!  I honestly couldn't wrap my head around what I was seeing....or anything else, these things were huge!!!

 

 

This trip was definitely not a trip that Les would have chosen for himself, but he was quite the trooper.  I do think he enjoyed it, but since it included hiking (not his thing) and didn't include golf (his thing), this trip certainly was just about me.  Thanks babe for a wonderful time.  I am so happy to have gotten to see this part of the country.  I hope to visit it again someday with the kids!

Lake Tahoe

I recently told Les that I wasn't blogging anymore, but I guess I lied.  I can not help myself.  These pictures (this place) is/are too beautiful not to share.  So, don't get too excited (for the 2 people that actually look at my blog) that I am blogging again.  This is a total fluke :).  I might have to post one more though.  I am really excited about the place we are going tomorrow....but for now, these will have to do!  This place is majestic!
